He RIDES & DRIVES! Super fun goes anywhere you point him. We call him Thunderbird his registered name is Springmeadow Thunder. He is a 14. 3 hand registered Friesian Sport Horse. You won’t want to miss out on this horse he’s a fun horse to play with and safe at the same time.

For driving he’s excellent! Stands for hitching, tacking, stop lights, getting on and off the cart, and he’s traffic safe! Doesn’t care a bit about traffic he’s had lots of loud trucks and semis go by and it doesn’t bother him. He’ll take you safely into town and back. He’s easy to control on the lines. He knows the words easy, whoa, back up, trot, and walk on. You can either ask with the rein or ask with a command and he’ll do it. He’s very fun to drive!

For riding he’s got it all... he’ll cross the bridges, creeks, logs, rivers, and he’ll even take you out to the big lake for a fun day on the beach. He has a smooth canter that’s easy to sit to and a nice trot. He has the Friesian Movement. He also has that nice Stout Friesian build with the thick legs he can carry a taller or bigger rider just fine.

He has a puppy dog personality loves to be with you as soon as he sees you he’s coming to the gate and will follow you around out in the pasture so needless to say he’s very easy to catch. He gets along out in the pasture; currently he’s in with two other geldings and they all get along fine. Loads right up in the trailer every time and backs right out.

If you like to ride lots of miles he’s your guy for that too he can take the miles the longest ride we’ve taken him on was 20 miles and he did it great. He’ll ride away from home alone just fine or separate out on the trail too. Not easily spooked. He’s had deer and turkey cross his path and he does just fine with it all. He’s a very trail savvy horse he’s been up and down some steep slopes and handles them all excellent. And if you need to plow through something and make a path he’ll set his head down and plow right through for you. There’s not much that phases Thunder.

He’ll take his canter right off of a walk, knows how to stop off the seat, and moves off of the leg. Neck reins great! NO bad habits or vices and NO maintenance. He’s pretty easy to get along with as long as you know how to ride or drive you’re going to have lots of fun with him either way. Picks up his feet fine and currently has driving shoes on, but he can go barefoot too. He has a current Coggins and a vet check.
