Sally is a 14. 3 hand 4 year old Andalusian cross mare. This filly has the best mind and is extremely athletic for any discipline. Sally has three extremely smooth gaits and stays collected nicely. She has been started over small cross country fences and also doing small courses in the arena. Sally is the first one to greet you at the pasture and loves attention! She’s a very smart girl with a huge personality and is extremely willing to please and eager to learn new tasks. Jumping is a breeze for this girl she knows where her legs belong and is never clumsy she has a fabulous whoa and will do it just off your seat pressure or just saying whoa. When she hasn’t been ridden in a month there is no need to longe or work her before mounting. She has absolutely no silly business to her. She is ok to sit if you do not ride regularly. Sally could excel in dressage, hunter, jumper, eventing or any type of other activities I could even see her being used as a play day youth horse or mounted shooting. Sky’s the limit with her all the basics are done she’s had miles and miles of trails under her belt and has even been camped out with during wagon trains and will tie to the picket line without an issue. Sally doesn’t mind saddle bags on her and is also great around large groups of people on horse back. Even in new environments Sally is extremely well mannered and knows her business. She’s used to children, chickens, donkeys, cats, cattle and even extremely loud children. Loading on the trailer is never an issue, she’s perfect to tie to the trailer, cross ties wonderful, loves baths, is great for the farrier and turns out in any environment we have put her in will even stay alone in one strand nylon wire. Sally knows both of her leads and has a basic change and has already started auto changed with a rider that knows how to ask and push a bit for one. We have played with the huge soccer ball in the arena, stepped up and walked over lots of obstacles and even took her swimming in the pond. Sally has clean legs, great feet and is sound and extremely solid! She has no scars or blemishes on her and is up to date on shots, deworming, farrier care, coggins and will have a fresh health certificate if sold. Sally is extremely special to our facility and a good home that’s going to use her to her fullest ability would be fabulous. If you are wanting to be seen she’s the one!
