Create my profile now!Zeus is a 9 year old, 17.3 hand, Spotted Draft Cross Gelding.
From his trainer: Zeus is the fun, safe, reliable, and forward horse that is so hard to find. He is safe both in and out of the ring. The most incredible thing about Zeus is his confident attitude around things that might typically scare other horses. I have a hard time saying that a horse doesn't spook at all and the most Zeus has ever spooked has been to step slightly out of the way of the scary object, however, he didn't even step away quickly. He is really that reliable and gives you such an honest feeling. He is the same horse whether he is ridden every day or if he has sat for 3 weeks. There are no surprises with this big guy!
Zeus is schooling leg yields and shoulder-in in the trot and is easy on the bit. His canter is not quite as developed as his trot, however, it is coming along nicely. Given his size coupled with being a touch more on the forward side, Zeus can be a bit strong at times so is not for a beginner. That said, he is really very honest and would never take off, he can just be a bit tricky to half halt sometimes. Zeus is also really easy to handle on the ground as well!
