8 YEAR OLD FRESIAN CROSS for sale in California

Santana is a very attractive 8 year old 15.3+ hand Friesian cross. He is a very good natured and kind horse that loves people and attention. Well trained and will collect up nice, has a beautiful extended trot and will lope out and take the correct lead every time. He has a good stop, backs soft and side passes with ease. He is outstanding to ride around our busy neighborhood streets as well as out on the trails. He is fine about all the usual things we encounter from fast passing vehicles to the neighborhood dogs to farm animals and the odd things people put at the end of the driveway for “free”. Santana is equally as good out on our mountain trails he goes wherever we ask him without hesitation. Crosses the river, downed trees, piles of river rock and navigates our steep rocky terrain like the good horse he is. Santana leads or follows, rides quite in a group or alone. He has had lots of experience driving as well and has been used in the lead up of a 6 horse team. Gets along well turned out with the other horses and is an absolute pleasure to ride and be around. This is a talented horse that would do well in lots of riding disciplines. He is good to tie, tack, bathe, shoe, load and haul. Stays gentle with time off.
