Zander is a majestic 7 yr old Registered Friesian Heritage Horse. He stands at a rider friendly 15.2 hands and has flawless conformation!

The possibilities are endless with Zander! This versatile gelding rides both English & Western! Started over jumps! His movements are beautiful! A great show jumping, hunter jumper, or dressage prospect. On the trail, he is calm and relaxed. Will ride out alone, ride away from other riders, or in a group. He is not herd bound. He crosses water, limbs, and logs and goes up and down hills, over bridges, and through brush.

Zander is sure-footed, takes care of his rider, and will confidently go wherever he is pointed. Zander is traffic safe. He has frequently been ridden and driven on the road, even down the median of the four-lane highway! Zander possesses all the qualities of a good one. He side passes and neck reins or direct reins depending on rider preference. He is voice command trained to "whoa" from his back and hooked to the wagon. Zander is trained to lay down both from the ground & from his back. Even though he has all the fancy buttons, he is very tolerant of a variety of riders.

If wagon rides are your thing, Zander is your guy! Frequently lady driven. He stands to harness and hook. He is unfazed by passing traffic, barking dogs, the sound of trains, and honking horns. He will go whatever speed you ask on a loose line. His driving experience makes him great for wagon trails, carriage rides, weddings, and events!

Zander is safe! He has zero spook, zero bad habits, is very confident, and is willing to do whatever is asked of him. We have used Zander to tote our 1 yr old son with us around the farm and on trails! I trust him that much! He has been exposed and is comfortable around tractors, kids, strollers, traffic, wildlife, other pets, and livestock. Zander has been hauled all over. He is the same horse in town as he is at home. No matter the setting, this guy is never bothered. He will stand tied/cross-tied all day! He ground ties for all tasks if you wish. He behaves like a perfect gentleman for grooming, saddling, bathing, the farrier, and clipping. He loads and unloads in a regular-size slant trailer with rear tack with no issues! Zander can be stalled or turned out. He is super easy to catch. He meets me at the gate every day, follows me to the barn, and knows exactly which stall is his. He pastures fine with both mares and geldings alike. A true pleasure to have around!
