Simon is no average draft horse; this gelding has captured hearts at the barn and is as impressive as any we've offered for sale. Versatile and cooperative, Simon has been there and done that from all ages of riders and he loves to do anything you ask him to do. He is very VERSATILE! Simon caters to riders of all ages and willingly performs any requested tasks. Having ridden numerous draft crosses over the years, I can confidently say Simon is 100% the nicest one I have had the opportunity to swing a leg over.

His riding capabilities span diverse settings, from town and indoor arenas to expansive open fields, all managed with a loose rein. Simon is easily controlled, navigating trails alone or in groups, crossing creeks, logs, and rough terrain effortlessly. His arena performance is exceptional, marked by a distinctive move, as pretty a turn around as you’ve ever seen on a big horse and will lope pretty circles. Simon's skills include a one-handed neck rein, responsive leg cues, soft in the bridle, side passing, pivoting, and handling gates. Remarkably, he can be ridden with or without a bridle. WE have yet to find chaos that bothers this guy. He is not bothered by cats, dogs, machinery, tarps, balls, or even cattle. He doesn’t blink an eye!
