We at Creek Valley Farm are pleased to Offer Rocky, a 5 year old draft cross. Rocky is the horse that most people dream of being able to buy but can’t find them. He is not only well broke to ride and drive but pretty to look at as well. He stands 14.3HH, which is a handy size for the adults to the small children.

Rocky has been on our farm for 2 years; he has been exposed to almost anything. He is always the first one at the gate in the pasture, just waiting to see what we want him to do next. He is safe for any level of rider; he loves to be ridden by children. He has been on many trails and wagon rides. He was loaned out to a kid this summer for a 3-day trail ride that never rode a horse. Does well being tied to the highlines at the state parks. He has been on trail rides with 600 riders and never once gets excited or nervous.

As you can see you can sell your swing set and use Rocky for that. He loves to eat and never misses a meal. Being built like a tank it doesn’t take a lot to keep him in shape. He is 100% sound and has no blemishes or any issues. The kids love to get him out and pile on his back and ride him all over the farm and the woods. So, if safety is a concern to you, Rocky is the horse that you have been looking for.

Rocky is also well trained to drive in a single carriage, or in a team with other horses. The school kids drive him 2 miles to school, making 2 stops on the way to pick up more kids. He stands to hitch and at stop signs, traffic on the road does not bother him. He has been to town, and we used him to take us to church services. We have used him in the covered wagon hitched in a team on 3-day rides. He has also been hitched to some farm equipment.

He trailers well, stands great for the farrier, and loves to get bathed. He has great barn and pasture manners.

He walks, trots and canters picking up both leads well. He would make a great therapy or lesson horse. He has a good solid stop to him.
