Homer is a sharp looking gelding with his seal brown coat and flashy white socks. Homer has spend most of his days on the trails and around the ranch. He is a 9 year old grade gelding that stands 15.1 hands. He has seen lots of miles out on the trails in various terrain. He is steady when it comes to knowing where to place his. He crosses water, logs, tunnels and bridges with ease. Homer has a nice one hand neck rein, stop and back up. He picks up his leads correctly and is a smooth mover. We have used Homer to gather the cows and bring them home. He is sacked out and has been exposed to tarps, balls, ATVs etc… Homer had more whoa than go but will get a job done when asked. Homer will fit just about anyone who knows the basics of riding. He is easy going and slows back down after doing a job. He is a comfortable ride to put the kids on with you and head up trail or let them trail along behind you. Homer would be an asset to anyones family or ranch. Homer is easy to catch, stands for the farrier, loads and hauls with ease.
