Elliott is one special gelding! I’ve personally been enjoying this horse for months, and am really twisting my own arm letting him go! This horse deserves all of the love, adventures and fun that I hope his new owner will give him. If there is one thing about this horse that I love the most, it is his willingness. Absolutely any and everything I have asked him to do, he does it with happy ears and no questions asked. I have personally hauled Elliott all over the place. From long trail rides in the woods, to busy and loud cow-sorts, he is right there with me ready to have fun!

I have ridden Elliott both Western and English, he has beautiful gaits and will move out when asked or collect up and jog around. You can throw away your reins or have a feel for his mouth and have him ride around buttery soft. I’ve even ridden him around bridleless for fun and he loved it. He has a beautiful neck rein and a great easy to sit “whoa”. Elliott moves off of leg pressure and understands educated cues, but will also let me just cruise along while on him without a care in the world and he totes me around happily. He W/T/C both directions and leads, and is the same horse out on the trail. He LOVES to be the leader, but has also followed along behind. We have trail ridden alone a LOT and I can always rely on him to have a good relaxing ride out in the woods. We have gone over logs, through water and across bridges without batting an eyelash. Point his nose and have fun!

Elliott shows potential in so many disciplines it would be too much to list. I’d love to take him to some ranch shows and English hunter paces. I know for a fact he would have a blast and look good doing it. He shows great interest in cow work and can go in any direction in that aspect. I’ve drove him straight through the middle of a herd of cattle and he was all for it! I’ve also gotten on him after 6 days off and he rode off like he never skipped a beat.

Personality wise, this horse is the DEFINITION of a puppy dog. I would trust an infant leading this horse around. Out in the paddock he is in your pocket and just wants to be your best friend. He is so gentle, and absolutely loves attention. He will stand all day long to be brushed, he loves a bath and has no issues at all with fly spray. Braid his hair for a couple of hours and he will sit there napping happily. He is like this anywhere he goes, on or off property. Very mellow, kind and easy going. He straight ties to the trailer or whatever you put him to and cross-ties at home on the aisle. His personality is really what has made me fall in love, and everyone who meets him really enjoys spending time with him. Elliott is someone’s heart horse just waiting to be chosen and loved for the rest of his life.
