Stunning 2023 ApHC grulla near leopard colt “Phantom Legacy” by the triple homozygous (ApHC) stallion DSK Phantom Legacy and out of (ApHC) Mightyfine Blackburn. This colt goes back to old foundation Appaloosas such as Ghostwind Legacy, Solar Flair Eclat and Plaudit, as well as Blackburn bred horses on his maternal side. These foundation horses are bred to be tough and versatile. This colt is nicely built with good feet and bone and should hold up well for a variety of uses for many years with little to no maintenance. He should have plenty of cow sense too. Nice rope horse prospect or ranch versatility/ranch riding prospect, mounted patrol, mountain packing, trail riding, you name it! He has some good size to him as just a yearling, and we expect him to finish out around 15.1 – 15.2 hands. Well-marked and grulla with a partial blue eye!
