SCOUT is a stunningly handsome Blue Roan Gelding, veterinarian age verified 10yo, 14.1 hands, sturdy, well built, and versatile. A naturally calm demeanor, curious and willing attitude, and anyone would enjoy spending lots of time with him. He has an eager love of learning and has a long list of tricks, he bows, lays down, will answer yes/no questions, side passes to the mounting block, and has started learning Spanish walk. His ground manners are excellent. Truly, he has been a favorite since the day he arrived here.

Under saddle, Scout is a great mover, with a comfortable, walk, trot, and lope. He will lope slow and controlled, as well as reach out with athleticism if you choose. He is a very smooth ride, with a nice feel in your hand. He moves well off leg pressure if you ask, side passes beautifully, backs and has a lead change. He does everything with a willing attitude.

He has many miles on trails and is very dependable. Scout loves dogs and other horses, he is super friendly. Crossing rivers, logs, confidently down and up banks, mud, traffic and wild life. Great alone or with lots of commotion.

On top of all of this, Scout has many miles to the fences, and jumps a course beautifully with a lead change. He has been shown at local horse shows and is sure to catch the judges eye. His new rider will enjoy his training, athleticism, and responsiveness and feel confident on Scout. He easily adjusts to his rider.
