Missy is one of our absolute favorite ponies. She is the go to for our youngest child Townes who just turned 3! Missy packs him around everywhere we go. We have hauled her to the Canadian River, the Palo Duro Canyon, play days, team ropings, gatherings and brandings, town, parades, team ropings, horse shows, you name it we’ve taken her. She is a saint of a pony! She stands for Townes to crawl on and off, brush, bathe saddle you name it she’s in for it. She picks up all of her feet for the kids and has been an invaluable teacher for Townes. Her ground manners are second to none. She’s not one ounce pushy, she will follow the kids anywhere they go and happily and quietly stand tied for any amount of time. Missy also never gets fresh with any time off and whether you ride her every day or once a month she will still meet you at the gate ready to go on whatever adventure is in store. Missy rides very well she’s not just broke for the babies. She steers very well and will walk trot and lope around cute as can be. She is definitely more whoa than go but she will go ride alone or in a group when asked. She will stand to rope the dummy or follow the sled around and let the kids practice roping. She will go through any of the play day events and she’s also fine to pony along beside another horse.

Missy is also broke to drive extremely well. Driving her to town is a fun treat for any of the kids!

Missy has a fun loving personality, it is a daily ritual for all three of our kids to hang out with her after school and share Oreos or gingersnap cookies. Its also no big shocker one a Saturday to walk in our house from the barn and find missy in our Daughter Saylor’s room. She will literally go anywhere with these kids.

Missy loads, and hauls well. She has been kept both by herself and turned out in a pasture with other horses and gets along well in both situations. She has no history of founder and is a super easy keeper.

This big hearted little mare is a wonderful teacher, babysitter, friend, and confidence builder for every little one that sets foot on our place, we will truly be sad to see her go but its time she go enrich the next family with all she has to offer just as she has done for our family!
