Dayani
15.1hh Palomino mare with tons of chrome, beautiful flowing mane/ tail with a sensible mind.
If you are looking for a broke, young horse to spend many years with, look no further! Hit the trails, dabble in the open shows, ranch shows, western dressage, fun shows, or just enjoy her at home (including the basketball court, see end of video)...
She is very easy to handle on the ground, picks up her feet and will follow you anywhere. She has a great walk for the trails, enjoys her job if she is alone or with the company of other horses. She is very easy to catch. She gets turned out with other horses and doesn't cause trouble. She is quiet, yet responsive under saddle and transitions nicely. She moves off your leg for lateral movement at the walk trot and lope. She also has some rate to her and you can push her up in the lope and bring her back down or just say "whoa" and she will put on the brakes. She has a nice side pass, she'll open/close gates, move on her haunches or front end when asked, backs up, neck reins, she'll roll the ball, carry a flag/tarp, and has been ridden in one parade. She does know some tricks, she will nod her head "Yes" and she sits on a cushion, has the start of a laydown and will come to the fence or mounting block to get on.
She does not require any maintenance. There are no vices or health issues with her either. Dayani has been in full time training the past 6 months and gone barefoot with no problems. We've spent a lot of time riding in the arena and out of the arena, around in the field, through water, around heavy equipment and in different show horse environments. She is also safe to be around kids. Stands nicely for the farrier. She's an easy keeper, up to date on shots & worming.
